The celebration of the Oscars confirms InterCasino as the premium casino brand when it comes to movie themed online slots.

MALTA, (March 1, 2012) – InterCasino turns the spotlight on one of its best slots, the silent movie themed slot: Silent Screen.

A silent movie triumphed at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, USA, winning the most coveted statuettes: best picture, best director, and best lead actor.

On February 9th, Elias D, from Lebanon, was left speechless after winning $19,459 on the Movie Mayhem Slot: Silent Screen. Silence is golden on InterCasino where slot lovers have the chance to play – and win – on this silent gem.

Set against the backdrop of the roaring 20’s, this 25 payline game takes the player back to the dawn of movie making, where true glamour and sophistication ruled the Hollywood box office.

Movie themed slots

Regis Pissot, Head of Casino at InterCasino, said: “We are featuring some of biggest blockbusters of all time with the epic Conan the Barbarian or the charismatic heroes Braveheart and Forrest Gump, both featuring the Paramount Jackpot. We also offer a wide selection of movie themed slots encompassing most genres: science fiction with Outta Space Adventure, scary movies with our Frightmare Slots: Zone of the Zombies and Vampire Bats; and romantic movies with Sunday Afternoon Classics. That the new talk of Hollywood is already playing on InterCasino says a lot about the depth of our slots offering, rich of so many gems amongst our 200+ online slot machines.”

MARVEL-ous March promotion

He added: “The superheroes from the Marvel family became blockbusters on the big screen, and some of the most popular slots on InterCasino. We will keep celebrating our movie themed slots in March when we’ll give our players a MARVEL-ous month and the chance to partake in a comic strip style promotion. The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor and Ghost Rider will be entertaining their fans on a daily basis via various slot tournaments, generous reward offers, cash prize pool and multiple match bonuses.”

Visit the MARVEL-ous March Promo Now!

The Marvel slots can be played on either the Instant Play or download
versions of the casino. Most of these games are also available in ‘play for fun’ mode at the free online games section of the website.

Make Money Promoting Online Poker with One of the Hottest and Fastest Growing Sites in the Industry: Face Up Gaming

In this day and age with the increasingly entrepreneurial bent of people, I truly believe that affiliate programs on the internet offer the best opportunity for a person with no experience but strong desire to start their own business and generate passive repeating income for themselves now and growing in the future.

Face Up Gaming has offered poker enthusiasts and business people alike the chance to promote on line poker through the Face Up Gaming Affiliate Program. The goal simply is to bring in new players. The great thing is these days with the explosive growth of free online poker, you don’t have to do much more than give people a simple way to find the game site and they do the rest. The preferred way in the affiliate world is a great looking colorful link talking about the opportunity and benefit to them for taking it. There is such an ocean of pre-screened buyers out there already.

Here you can check out Face Up Gaming’s best affiliate program

Getting started is super easy and the program offers some great features like lifetime repeated income for every dollar spent by the person you refer. You get paid as long as your referral is an active member at 15% up to 20%. I am an avid affiliate and given the projected growth, based on recent performance of online poker sites generally and Face Up Gaming in particular, this is potentially an exciting opportunity. There aren’t many that I’d say could be a massive income source all on by itself, but this is one.

Why Face Up Gaming’s Affiliate Program?

Let me tell you in more depth why I think the Face Up Gaming Affiliate Program particularly is a winner for both experienced affiliates and someone just starting out. This comes from having become part of affiliate programs that I have done great with and continue to, but also having been part of some duds.

–My first criteria always is: you want to be in a growing market with lots of opportunity. Online Poker is one of the fastest growing online recreational activities and in the context of gaming it is well on the way to being one of the top revenue producers. Just in the last 12 to 24 months many US states have taken steps to capitalize on the US Attorney General’s opinion allowing for regulated online poker run by state governments. This legalization element adds revenue potential never before contemplated and serves to add mainstream legitimacy. Millions of people will now be attracted who otherwise were reluctant to try online poker.

–A close second when analyzing an affiliate opportunity is the ease of talking about the topic. This generally means that I find the topic interesting. I think in this case, poker players, people who are fascinated by poker, or people who would like to learn a little more in the process of promoting the product, would be great fits as affiliates. Basically you want an opportunity with a never ending reservoir of topics related to the opportunity. A good affiliate will be out there sharing value and lots of it. You don’t want to get into something boring like knitting, you want something with sizzle, zest and growing appeal.

–Membership sites are the best because you get the opportunity to get paid more than once into the future for your work in the past. This is the essence of passive income. Face Up Gaming offers this very element. Beyond that, you can qualify for bonus prizes like a card cruise for two and a seat at the World Series of Poker.

Online poker players need a site that is trustworthy as well as provides the utmost security. There have been certain actions amongst some online poker sites that have made poker players leery about playing online. Luckily for players both present and past, PokerRoom is making a comeback to the online gaming community.

PokerRoom has made a name for itself in online security. Dating back to 1999, PokerRoom is one of the safest sites that offers poker cash games and is the first site to receive the seal of approval from eCogra, a London based player protection organization. PokerRoom is also licensed in Gibraltar and Canada. To make the security as tight as possible, there are also online authorities that monitor the security of PokerRoom’s site.

PokerRoom is a site that operates on honesty and integrity. You won’t find bots seeding the game or find them paying professional poker players in order to make the site more successful. PokerRoom relies on its own success to keep it growing. Being a part of OnGame Network, which is the fifth largest poker network in the world, doesn’t hurt either. The name recognition alone brings players from all over to PokerRoom, which is why they service up to 40,000 poker players daily. There’s never a worry about there not being enough players or playing the same players over and over again. Since PokerRoom doesn’t waste money on hyping up professional players, they are able to offer the latest technology and the largest spread of all of the games.

With a wide variety of games to choose from, you won’t be stuck only playing Texas Hold ‘em. PokerRoom offers Omaha, Stud, Stud Hi-Lo, Omaha Hi-Lo as well as Draw Poker. There is a game and tournament for everyone. Should you need support, PokerRoom is there to help. There’s no reason to wait for your answer when they have round the clock support. Choose from online chat for immediate support as well as telephone support. If your matter isn’t urgent or you don’t have the time to wait for a customer service agent, there is always the option to send an email and wait for a response.

PokerRoom doesn’t believe in hyping up their site. They rely on their own success, which has worked quite well for them. This is why you won’t find hyped up ads, articles or so-called tips on their homepage. What you will find is community chats where you are able to communicate with actual players. Talking with real people gives online poker playing a whole new meaning.

PokerRoom is a genuine online poker site that offers genuine value to its players, not just a quick game. PokerRoom values its clients and in turn offers them plenty of traffic and options of the types of games to play poker online. Joining the PokerRoom family is simple; visit their website today to register.

Love him or hate him, PokerStars Online Poker Pro, Bachir Boumaaza aka Chiren80 aka Athene, knows how to make a successful living. He worked hard and rose through the poker ranks to become a sponsored online poker star. Applying the same discipline, he learned to market himself as a commodity and has generated an impressive income from it. He is becoming one of the most well known real money poker players in the industry today, because of his own efforts.
Bachir’s first major achievement was grinding real money poker all the way to PokerStars Supernova Elite status. His success with the popular VIP program, generated positive bankroll growth, impressive PokerStars Bonuses and ultimately an online PokerStars Pro sponsorship. He estimates that he’s earned no less than 300 thousand dollars from the achievement alone. He took that success and began to proclaim himself the most well know poker gamer in the world. Then, Bachir proved it by capitalizing on that claim and putting out the effort to prove it.
AtheneWins was brought to life in October 2007. He began with making free online poker videos, informative advice for the aspiring pro and covered an expanding variety of topics. Over time he has covered many gaming related topics, including War/Starcraft, tournament and live events. He’s given commentary on poker events and he strives to establish himself in all the venues he’s taken the time to discuss. Four years later, there are more than 500 thousand youtube subscribers to his channel and he has a following from some of the biggest marketing and gaming firms in the industry today.
Along the way, as he’s marketed himself, he’s moved to create a website to inspire the self-development of an Activism network. His project strives to encourage bring people together from around the world and inspire them to encourage each other to achieve positive results in whatever they do. The videos posted to his site, along with the forum and additional information cover topics from Basic Human Needs to achieving balance. Each of the videos are submitted from members of the community. Thus far, he is seeing success in everything he touches.
His estimated financial success with the youtube videos and related network is around 150 thousand dollars with a significant amount thereof being donated to charity.
To further increase his video exposure, AtheneWins is hosting a question and answer program through the popular online bookmarking program Reddit. For everyone who asks a question, he’s creating a single video response. At least one has posted their link to Two Plus Two. The video response confirms his best method of marketing, is to do the marketing himself and of himself. His efforts have proven he is a keen online businessman with a lot more left to say to any who will hear.

Twitter Poker League aka #tpoker is a new approach to online poker. This bridges the gap between the online poker game and the social networking format that is Twitter. The PokerStars Twitter Poker League allows players the opportunity to compete for top prizes and stay up to date with the latest related news through Twitter and the #tpoker blog.
Twitter Poker League tournaments are played every Sunday online. This is a low stakes buy in event, 1.10 USD and registration for the weekly event is open.
The #tpoker league competes for some of the top prizes available in online poker. There are bi monthly prizes of more than 2k USD, just for the league. Annually three is a grand prize for 17k USD. There is also entry into some of the biggest events in online poker, such as World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) and Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). The league also keeps track of rankings and offers tickets, trophies and more prize opportunities (will) become available as the league continues to grow.
As to rankings, the top 9 finishers in every weekly #tpoker tournament earn points. The points range from 20 for the first place winner down to 10 for the ninth place finisher. Everyone who enters one of the weekly #tpoker events is awarded 1 point. The more tournaments entered, the more chances of winning prizes, and the better overall ranking in the league.
Last week’s event saw more than a thousand entrants and a top prize of 184.82 USD.

With their desire and drive to stay on the front edge of the social networking trends, they have added social networking features to their poker room enhancements.
It is possible for players to utilize an on site app, ‘ChiliConnect’, which smoothly integrates popular sites like Twitter and Facebook within the player’s online poker account. This allows each person the opportunity to brag to friends, create new challenges and share results.
The Challenge widget integrated into the ChilliConnect app allows players the opportunity to make longer lasting bets that are tracked by the system. Once each bet or side arrangement has been achieved, prizes are awarded in addition to the bet.
Another highlight is the opportunity to sell a percentage of a buy-in for a tournament event. The buy in is based on the same premise many of the major high level professional players use for their live tournaments.
These features connect with other networking enhancements to bring a new experience level for the online poker community.

Online Poker Professionals face Italian Taxes
Italian online poker professionals have more than just cards on their minds right now. It appears the Italian Revenue Agency as well as the Guardian di Finaza have began investigating the income achieved and declared by online poker players. The focus is being directed at the individuals who have signed appropriate contracts both with Italian officials and any of the international online poker rooms.
A form along with a letter explaining it was sent to each of the poker professionals. This form questions them regarding their cashes, foreign bank accounts, sponsorships, income received from royalties, images, poker affiliate marketing or other related revenue generating avenues. Any money won or generated from any site that is not established in Italy is subject to assessment. The forms have a return by date and must be completely filled out and back to the agency by the specified time.
All foreign based bank accounts that are related to the online gaming are monitored and if at any time the balance and movement exceeds 10 thousand Euros, it is to be declared a fiscal asset. As an asset it is subject to taxation.
As with any country, mind your numbers, laws and paperwork and the revenue agencies will not make issue of your income.

Isildur1 vs. Daniel Negreanu – Finally!

Finally set in stone, two massive poker competitors will go head to head in a multi-day, multi-table event for the records. Viktor Blom and Daniel Negreanu are booked for a grueling two day heads up match up. In similar form to Viktor’s “Superstar Showdown”, the two day event will pair up the men on an agreed upon field, preset opening blinds and bankroll limit. On March 20 and 27th, two of the most well known names in poker today, will fiercely compete heads up against each other for the world to see.
Both Viktor and Daniel will play with 150 thousand dollars. Playing over four tables, with the same 2500 hand goal as in previous showdowns, some things have been altered to meet the expectations of this match up. The hand goal is per round. On day one the goal of 2500 hands over four No Limit Hold’Em tables will be met and their finishing stacks are carried into round two. Day two will be a repeat of round one. They will compete across the same four tables with the same chip stacks. It’s clear that PokerStars is expecting this to be an incredible event.
In preparation for the event, Negreanu is competing in five and ten dollar blinds at the No Limit Holdem tables. Although he is up against a multi-table learning curve, Daniel is already up and making money at 13 thousand. An impressive start for someone who’s only practicing until he squares off against the young gun, Viktor Blom.
The forums are lighting up with excitement as poker players are discussing the match up. Some are reflecting on the experience and skill of Negreanu while others are expecting Blom has a chance at taking home the glory. Regardless of the outcome it’s clear this is not a match up intended for the cash prizes, but for the glory of being the undeniable heads up poker king.

The 2010 November Nine is nearly upon us. On Saturday, the final nine players of the 2010 WSOP Main Event will return to the Rio in Las Vegas to try and take their place among poker’s immortals. While the chip leaders and Michael Mizrachi are the main focus of many sites, we thought we would take a few moments and give you the rundown on the smaller stacks of the final table.

Matt Jarvis never seriously considered poker a career option until he made the Main Event final. The 26 year-old has been playing seriously for two years, but never considered himself a pro. In addition to this final table, he has taken down two events recently that has given him pause to reconsider his career options. Jarvis enters the final table with 16.7 Million in chips, currently 5th overall. He is also playing for his father Norm who was diagnosed with cancer prior to the start of the World Series of Poker.

Filippo Candio will start the table with 16.4 Million in chips at the beginning of play. He is looking to become the first Italian-born player to win the WSOP Main Event. The former law student has been playing poker tournaments for the last five years and took down the Italian Pro Championship in 2009. He will be in decent shape to start the final table with 31 big blinds and an M at around 13.

Soi Nguyen is the only person at this final table that considers himself an amateur. Nguyen worked for a medical company and actually took his vacation to play in the Main Event. What started as a bucket list trip soon turned into a life changing event as he made the final table and is guaranteed $811,823. Nguyen is the 2nd short stack coming into play so there is a strong chance that he may not see any more than the $811k. He is also the oldest player at the table at the ripe “old” age of 37.

Jason Senti is in the unenviable position of being the short stack to start the final table. He will come back with just 7.625 Million in chips, which is just over 12 big blinds with an M of under 5. He will have to make a move early just to have any chance of competing for the bracelet. Senti is a cash game player and instructor for Blue Fire poker. He does not come into the final table with a strong tournament resume, but his play is strong enough to warrant Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond partially backing him into the Main Event.

Below are how the November Nine stacks up at the start of final table play:

Seat 1. Jason Senti 7,625,000

Seat 2. Joseph Cheong 23,525,000

Seat 3. John Dolan 46,250,000

Seat 4. Jonathan Duhamel 65,975,000

Seat 5. Michael Mizrachi 14,450,000

Seat 6. Matthew Jarvis 16,700,000

Seat 7. John Racener 19,050,000

Seat 8. Filippo Candio 16,400,000

Seat 9. Cuong “Soi” Nguyen 9,650,000

“Shuffle up and deal” is scheduled for Noon PDT on Saturday. Once heads-up is reached, play will be halted until Monday, at which time the final two will play for the bracelet and nearly $9 Million in prize money.
